"Self-Portrait"
See Christ Here Poem+Picture--October 4, 2019
In my more honest moments
I will call this a self portrait.
I am a fallen branch courting disaster,
having thrown myself entirely
onto borrowed strength that is not my own,
and living in the tension and hope
of trusting I am held by a power
greater than my own.
