Beneath Our Feet (Poem and Picture 022)--January 8, 2019

Beneath Our Feet
See Christ Here Poem and Picture--January 8, 2019

A circle is perfection,
the ancients believed,
an ideal form of eternity,
symmetry,
and beauty,
beyond the best attempts
of artists to duplicate.
But here,
beneath our feet,
look how grace lavishes
more circles than you can count.
God comes low
more than we knew.

  1. Circles that share space in a puddle, or bead up on a raincoat, or join together and form a path down the windshield. Transforming circles, all a part of God's creation.
