Driving past a neighbor's fence
a broken gate raised
a question in my mind:
Does a door that cannot close
nor open
simply become a barrier?
Do you ever forget there is a world beyond,
and that some Lazarus may be waiting
to be seen in love?
Spirit, keep us looking.
