"Rabbits Know Better"

This brazen rabbit,
doesn't she know
this is my yard
onto which
she has trespassed?
Of course not.
Rabbits know better,
deeper down
further back,
than which human
claims which square of land
today.
Like the Spirit of God,
She goes where she pleases
defiant of the lines we draw.
