"An Apostle with Crayons"

In the bottom of a cardboard box
beneath papers and clutter,
there was waiting for me
a message from my daughter,
an epistle of grace just when I needed it.
Thanks be to the One
Who knew when I felt buried
and sent an apostle with crayons
to bring me the good news:
I am beloved.
