"No Footprints in the Sand"

Hardly ten seconds later,
the swallowtail was gone.
Her six legs left no mark,
no footprints in the sand.
Nevertheless
this moment happened,
as real and true as 
the squish of sand between toes,
and she brought
grace to my eyes
for one instant.

Now,
what will I do?
