From a Pittsburgh Waiting Room
See Christ Here Poem+Picture 003--December 4, 2018
The waiting room furniture
is comfortable enough.
The dis-ease you feel there is
the unresolved tension
like a minor-7th waiting for
a final chord.
So much of life is lived here.
Christ does not delay his arrival
until the nurses bring news.
He sits with us now.
