Storm or Sun

Was the storm coming, or the sun?
At this moment of the trip
it was hard to tell.
Before journey's end
there will be both
blue skies and blizzards
and sometimes even
both at once.
Your promise was never
only clear skies,
but your presence all the way
And so we go.
