We Are Becoming
See Christ Here Poem and Picture 014--December 15, 2018

Before the hammer strikes
the first nail,
even an amateur woodworker
has a vision
of what such planks of pine
will become,
working with its knots and grain

until it is finished.

"You are God's handiwork,"
says the apostle.

We are not waiting idly:

we are becoming.
